Services

Trinco Development enhances societal development by improving the stakeholder cooperation power and by improving and accelerating development and implementation effectiveness, whether it is at countylevel within Kenya, a state within Nigeria or a region in Uganda or regions in other emerging economies.

We fulfill the connective role between funders, government, industry, society groups & communities, developmental agencies and knowledge institutes. As cooperation & alignment experts we have the distinctive advantage of not lobbying for a specific content topic, domain or large brand, hence enabling us to act on behalf of a balanced representation of these stakeholder groups.

This core activity is sometimes referred to as ‘transformation as a service’ (TAAS), and translates into two services areas:

Regional breakthrough programs

It’s our core service to realize integrative cooperations and to set up or accelerate programs for effective regional growth & development, encompassing all sectors and governmental topics relevant to the region. We build and facilitate regional transformations with a time scope of six years, purposefully overarching election timelines. We do so in two stages: 1 – 1,5 year of development and sourcing, and 3-6 years of agile execution.

Starting at the actual starting points of regions and the incumbent stakeholders, we jointly build coalitions on successes, addressing their vision on bottlenecks and setting up or sharpen towards a distinctive regional program with a strong support base, clear cut KPI’s per sector, per topic and on governmental areas. Then we bring, gather, build, and enable necessary human and financial resources and conditional elements on governance, contracting and many other areas while creating continuous resilient steering and various decision moments during the development and execution stage.

The focus of our service is twofold:

1.

Enable cooperation between six stakeholder categories, detect and mitigate (underlying) cooperation bottlenecks, align interests and resolve conflicts between stakeholders (soft assets).

2.

We realize governance & business solutions, funds, policy coordination and capabilities (hard assets).

Our approach and capabilities form our toolkit with which we commit and create results for the region. We are not going to bother you more specifically, as it’s about distinctively creating a change pathway to tangible results for the region.

Hardware results, Software methods

We often get the question: ‘In which sector are you?’ Referring to a specific domain like energy, water, waste, infra or health. Within our service of integrative Regional development, we don’t focus on one sector, we deliver ‘transformation as a service’ (TAAS), addressing the soft- and hardware assets at the same time. Content or specific technical sector knowledge is available among our subject matter experts and within partner organisations focussing on a specific subject matter, i.e. water management. This means we create complementary connectivity with all sector stakeholders. TAAS is fundamentally different from ‘just management’ and different from content-driven sector approaches as we address all bottleneck-areas with an even broader toolkit of expertise.

Joint development and on-ground input instead of advisory from the desk.

To do so, we ‘ve brought together over 20 years of experience and expertise in advocacy & lobby, transformation, change, business development, supplier market management, negotiation, contracting, governance, conflict mitigation and interest alignment, sociological group dynamics and many more capabilities. We combine this in a special conjunction: ‘insight and priorities from stakeholders inside the region’ and resourcing, stakeholders and change expertise from outside’. In our approach, we describe how this translates into a set of tangible KPIs per sector and at an overarching level. Through an agile cooperation process, this is put in more detail through a so-called ‘product-breakdown-structure’. This can non-restrictively encompass amongst others:

Variety of Sectors. We focus on the distinctive and complementary value of the region in an economic, social and sustainable perspective. This may encompass several of many sectors: energy & recycling, infra, logistics, telecom, harbor & construction, health prevention & training, consumer production & retail, agri-food and industry, ICT, fintech, pension & insurance, wellness & tourism etc.

Overarching topics. When it comes to overarching topics one can think of governmental effectiveness (license delivery speed, predictability of service levels, community driven tax solutions, easing import & procurement bottlenecks, peace & stability interventions, law & enforcement) and other generic fields like leadership, talent, skills & capacity improvement, incentivized alumni branding and talent matching.

In addition, we map down the existing and new party constellation in a governance connectivity scheme to facilitate the whole process.

Other services

In addition to our core service of creating regional sustainable breakthroughs, we offer our cooperation service in two other fields:

Field areas: Specific sustainable development goals SDG programs, National sector & eco-systemic development programs (i.e. aligned health prevention driven insurance strategies across public/private sector), international up/downstream supply chain optimization (i.e. sustainable production and transport) and impact investment optimization (i.e. investor portfolio effectiveness analysis and translation into a change program).

Human areas: Society group cohesion programs, peace- & post-conflict connectivity, mediation & coalitions for conflicting stakeholders, connective leadership boardroom effectiveness coaching.
